Biography

Dr. Caiwei Shen received a B.S. degree in electronic engineering and an M.S. degree in microelectronics from Tsinghua University in 2010 and 2013, respectively. He received a PhD degree in mechanical engineering from University of California at Berkeley in 2018. In the same year, he joined the Mechanical Engineering department at University of Massachusetts Dartmouth as assistant professor. He is teaching materials science courses for both undergraduate and graduate students.
